Open Settings from the sidebar while a Xero organisation is active. Everything on this page applies to that organisation only. Account dropdowns use your live Xero chart of accounts; system and archived accounts are left out so the lists stay practical.

Connection status and organisation details

The top card shows whether Prepaidly is connected to the Xero file you have open, the organisation name, and a green or red status indicator. When the link has expired you may see a warning and a Reconnect to Xero button.

Under Organisation details you will see Region, Timezone, and Currency from Xero (handy when you check posting dates or reporting). Use Refresh if metadata looks stale after a change in Xero. If the connection is broken, use Reconnect to Xero when it appears.

A small plan badge on the heading reflects whether this organisation is on a paid tier or free; changing plans, payment methods, and limits happens under Billings and plans.

Conversion date

The Conversion Date section sets an optional lock date. If you choose a date, journals whose period date is on or before that date cannot be posted to Xero (including automatic posting). Leave the field empty if you do not need that lock. Analytics and similar views use this date to label periods before conversion. Press Save in this section when you change it.

Default accounts (balance sheet)

Under Default Accounts, pick the codes New Schedule should suggest first. These defaults apply when you create new prepaid or unearned schedules (you can still override lines per schedule where the product allows).

• Default prepayment asset account: choose from balance-sheet accounts Xero classifies as suitable for prepaid balances (prepayment, asset, and similar types). The in-app hint describes this as the debit side for prepayment schedules.
• Default unearned revenue liability account: choose from liability accounts (current or non-current). The in-app hint describes this as the credit side for unearned revenue schedules.

Choose each dropdown, then press Save on the Default Accounts card. Conversion date and default accounts save independently so you can update one without redoing the other.
