Sign-in and account

Prepaidly accounts are separate from Xero logins. You typically start at the Sign In screen with email and password, choose Create an account for new users, or pick Login with Xero when your organisation uses that option.

Password and recovery

  • Forgot password: on Sign In, use the forgot-password link to request a reset email.
  • Reset password: open the link from your email and follow the prompts to choose a new password.

Email verification and invitations

  • Verify email: after signup you may need to confirm your address from the email we send before you can continue.
  • Accept invite: open the invitation link from your email to join the organisation with the role your admin chose.

Sessions

After sign-in, your session can expire when you have been idle too long. Sign in again if the app sends you back to login. If you arrived from a link (for example an invitation), you are usually returned to the right place after you sign in.

From inside the app, the avatar menu offers Profile Settings (display name for the active tenant) and Sign Out. Help shortcuts in the app open the Help and Knowledge Base.
